Rockingham or other? hound handle jug - Trenton? Empty Rockingham or other? hound handle jug - Trenton?

Was at an estate with some really high end antique pottery pieces this was one of them. Cannot make out the signature. The date seems like it says 1875. Thanks for your help in advance.

An eBay member suggested that it says Trenton. That would be consistent with this specific style.
