this leads me to assume  all the pots in this thread are Scandinavian and any Scandinavian potter would know that Carl Harry Stalhane owns that monogram

"Modern Art" is produced by incompetents, sold by charlatans and bought by ignoramuses?

It is enlightening to juxtapose "Fine Art" to "Modern Art"

Or: None of the pots are Scandanavian, because a Scandi potter would have known of CHS.

CHS may not be a monogram, it might be eg. "Cornish Head stocks"

Asked on one of the German groups on FB and nothing. I think that's a red herring.

Were assuming reindeer, could just as easily be any deer, maybe Canadian
Think Mining, if indeed it is a mine logo, and deer, Northern latitudes anyway!

Could be, Denby. Anyway I asked on a Scandibavian and a German group and neither recognised the mark so back to the drawing board.

r-and-f wrote: These are typical marks from the his Designhuset studio set up after he left Rorstrand.  He didn't throw pots himself but did the designs and oversaw production.  He did some decoration himself but his unique pieces usually have his full signature.

Sounds logical, but all the marks seem to be in the same hand.
