Tall turquoise blue vase Empty Tall turquoise blue vase

This is a complete mystery to me. There are no markings and I have no idea of the age or country of origin. Came from a house clearance and does look to have some age. It is thickly potted and quite heavy. Would welcome comments and ideas.

I came across one of these recently. Pretty sure it was Chinese or at least Oriental. I dont know any more, but the foot pads are typical of imports sold in department stores, so I suspecg they are from TKMaxx or similar.
