3 Pint Denby Jug

Obviously made by Denby but what does the GVLR stand for? My best guess would be Golden Valley Light Railway in Derbyshire? Sorry about the pictures they were taken on phone some time ago.

Found it Ed thanks. There is an indent in the clay at the bottom of the I which makes it look joined to the full stop!

It is George IV, found on both Denby and Langley wares.
It was used during wartime on utilty wares supplied to
military and government departments.
