19thC dish - French? Adams?

Sponged and painted overglazed enamel. Unmarked dish with distinctive three pronged stilt marks. Doesn't seem to be British. I think it may be French.  

I wouldn't discount it being Scottish spongeware.

I saw a 1820s Adams plate with a very similar design. Could it be Adams?

There's a useful potted history of spongeware at http://countryantiques.org/the_house_in_the_country. They look as though they specialise in spongeware so it might be worth sending an email asking if they can help with an ID although, being a business, they might not want to!

1820s may be a bit early for spongeware of any type and if it's the Staffordshire Adams you're talking about, I think that they were predominantly transfer printed producers.
