Hi,
I'm hoping to ID my studio pottery plate. It has an interesting decoration with an applied 'moon' disk and script-like under-glaze blue decoration. Had a go at identifying the mark with little luck. Does anyone out there recognise the maker? Thank you for your assistance.

The mark looks like a bird. But I'm afraid it's not in the Marks book

I didn't have any luck in the usual places. Have a feeling that it may be Eastern. Something about the oxidisation on the under-glaze blue reminds me of some chawan decoration I saw in Japan. I'll keep hoping as I'd love to know the artist.
