Isle of Wight handcraft pottery (Samuel E Saunders)

Post by denbydump on June 27th 2014, 1:36 pm

Decided to put it here in the end!

"First period" wares 1926-32. not all marked, but all with similar unglazed terracotta bases.
Similarities with the Poole and Honiton of that era.

"Second period" wares 1932-38. Small box not marked, all bases are glazed.
Similarities with Pilks, Astra and Candy wares
