Poole Pottery 1960-1980 Part One

Set up by Jesse Carter in 1873 Poole pottery has evolved from an architectural ceramics business to one of the most fashionable name in ceramic interior design,also bringing studio pottery into the homes of the masses,it opened the eyes of the working man to the beauty of hand produced ceramic art.

This is the only Ionian range vase I have seen,the range was made for one year 1974-75 and the vases are rare as hens teeth.
