Scandi style Figurative vase

this is a lovely well made piece about 7" high , i am thinking scandanavian but not sure at all it has an incised signature very very difficult to make out any ideas of origin would be a great help

Looks like a " between the first two letters.

Could the second word be handarbeit?

German or Hungarian, maybe?

Does look like an "A" second letter , maybe something like Cal...a...o m Shrugs, don't think handerbeit , although it is hand made studio pottery, the glaze is superb, it has three stilt marks as well .

I know this type of pot is right up your street Dan , I don't normally go for this type but this one does appeal , I will list it or maybe meet you later this year at the lincon fairs , were you can buy my emili biarnes , this and anything else you fancy Happy

I meant the mark " (not sure what they're called). Sort of thing you get above letters in countries like Germany, Scandinavia, etc.

the Biarnes piece would probably be a better investment but I'm happy to buy both

The biarnes piece is a great investment imo , we can do a deal I'm sure a bogof no problem , I love the biarnes , but it is too big for our place .
