This is a lovely shape, and has a beautiful silky soft glaze, that is almost chrystalline. Looks very scandinavian to me, but last time I thought that it was english. Very clear mark, maybe 'hy'? Thanks!

it's the mark used by hans and renate heckmann
there are 4 Heckmanns marks
yours is the impressed mark used from 1972 onwards for unique pieces.

Brilliant SI, great to know, I thought this was going to draw a blank. It's a really nice glaze, Is there work collectable in Germany?
