Beautiful Amethyst Glass Vase

Picked this up a couple of days ago at a thrift store. It's about 12" H x 5 " in diameter at it's widest. I thought the beautiful purple/amberish color and shape were very interesting. It appears to be hand blown and the base is joined to the body with a clear transitional piece of glass. No marks or labels anywhere. Has a few air bubbles and imperfections in the glass on the top portion. -Mike-

The form of your vase looks to be inspired by early C20 Murano glass, especially the classic Venini 'Veronese' vase, but I suspect yours hails from outside of Murano and is much more contemporary.
