Bullicante 12" Handled Vase in Seafoam Green

Post by mikelv85 on March 1st 2014, 11:25 pm

Another find from over the Summer. I checked the 20th Century Glass website's encyclopedia and it "appears" to be Venini -Murano but it's not signed or labeled. The bubble inclusions are typical of their work though. The handles are pencil thin but surprisingly strong. It's a beautiful pale blue green they call "seafoam". It has some hard water deposits on the inside which is clouding it a bit.  I really have not been able to get a 100% ID other than Italian art glass. -Mike-

I'd probably start with some of the glassworks in Empoli, Tuscany, rather than those of Venice.
