Two chunky stoneware pots with the same inscribed flower mark

Post by NaomiM on February 24th 2014, 5:24 pm

Egg = 4" high & wide. Disc = 2.5" high & 7" wide
The 'egg' is decorated using an A shaped stamp, impressed in a band of clay round the middle, while the 'disc' has an incised leaf and line decoration.
Anyone recognise the mark?
I wondered if they could be German.

I'll keep an eye out , they sometimes pop up at the Malvern & Shepton Fairs, some pieces are really well made ,others a bit iffy , maybe suggesting not one person at work here .
