By Gibson & sons. 1909+.
Albany and Harvey were the names of the two different potteries they owned.

All over silver lustre, i think i read somewhere that this is what's known as 'poor mans silver'. It will polish up with silver cleaner, although it takes a thin layer off each time. Which is probably why you can see the copper base colour coming through.

Excellent

I did think they were silver when I saw them; before I picked them up :D

Checking if anyone can help with the design pattern name and date ..?

I know that Gibson & Sons became Limited company in 1905
There were 2 separate potteries

But I can not reference the date and pattern at the moment
The stamp is C1909 plus

I would guess 1920s ?

Thankyou Gibson & Sons (Albany & Harvey potteries), Burslem Thumbn24

Probably 1910s rather than 1920s, There probably isn't a pattern name
as such, but the number on the base would be the pattern code - 4453.
