Is it a fairy lamp?

Post by Redware on January 8th 2014, 9:01 pm

I've came across a few so called fairy lamps before but never seen one like this before. Or maybe it is something different? a vase maybe?
I'm pretty sure it is moulded rather than mouth blown. It is nicely made with polished rim, no pontil mark or signature. 4 3/4'' tall.
Any ideas what can it be?

Not a fairy lamp but a vase from Borske Sklo, they come in different colours, sizes and shapes.

One here, click to the left for a second shape: https://picasaweb.google.com/Johnmj100/CzechGlass#5906726078877178562

Thank you very much John, it has that "alien" look to it  Happy
I had nice piece from the Rosice works but this one is even nicer.

They have really good optical effects, if you can find one or two more also look great in a group.
