Stumped on this one, have no idea really. Its a beautiful piece though, in very very dark aubergine, cased in clear. Obviously handblown and has quality to it. Some bubbles throughout.
I originally thought mid century, but maybe it could be older... like, Victorian?? Definitely has some age judging from the scratches to the base.
It has a 'broken' pontil mark too.
SIZE: approx 14cm diam x 9cm high.
Any ideas on age, maker, origin would be great!
