Had this some time as I love the colour and design although I can't be 100% as to whether it is cased glass or porcelain.  I think glass!  I am assuming it's a cheapy chinese import but would like to ID it if poss please.  Am assuming the scratches to the base mean nothing

How strange, this is the second time today someone has ask for an ID on a piece I just saw the day before! The piece I came across was red and had a "MADE IN CHINA" sticker on the base (although could have said Taiwan I'll check today when I'm there again). Is yours around 5-6" in height? I'm almost certain it's the exact piece (just different color). It's glass.

Hi. I've got the ID on this piece. It was made for Avon beauty products and believe it or not the glass itself was scented with a fragrance they called Spring Bouquet or Spring Dynasty. The company came out with it in 1981. I have the same one in red. You can google Avon Asian vase and see them

The coloured coating is, I believe, a plastic film
