I am interested to know the identity of this little silver footed bowl.  I have not attemted cleaning yet.   Does anyone know the period that it was made, or even the maker.   There are no silver markings, other than embossed Natural Arch Torquay.  The bowl is about 3 1/4" dia. Comparing the picture to images found online during my search, I think this has some age to it.

I doubt it's silver, and I don't think you should clean it. It looks like it's had a black stain brushed over it to pick out the detail, eg, the crevices in the rocks and the ripples in the water.
More likely to be pewter than silver - silver would have been marked.
Doesn't look pre-1900. I would estimate a mid-century date. Maybe 1930s or post-rationing in the 1950s.
