On from tomorrow (Thurs) until Bank Holiday Monday.
Anyone been to this before? Any good for ceramics? Apparently you have to pay to get into the garden if you want to visit the fair.

I haven't been to Wisley but I did go to an event that the same company organised elsewhere some years ago and, although I got a free ticket from an exhibitor, I wouldn't go again. The pots weren't that good - really evening class amateur.

There was an Arts, Crafts & Design fair advertised a couple of weeks back in Abingdon. Don't know if it was the same company. Looked on the website and, like you say, real amateur stuff.

They are the sort of events that new craftspeople are tempted to take part in the build up a client base but most only do it once or twice, as they are expensive. I think that if you make jewellery you have a chance and probably do more of them ,as that seems to be the type of thing that the majority of visitors are likely to buy.

The organisers are the ones who make the money.
