oops Naomi well the mark on that teapot is the same for sure , just know one knows who made them surprisingly so as they both seem to be verry well executed .

This is really a stab in the dark but might the R stand for Rodmell Pottery?

I know that it originally made tin glazed earthenware but there is a reference on this Forum somewhere about it later using stoneware and also that the pottery had different people working there over the years.

Quick update i have found my elusive potters monogram on a large vase on the Bay with a RcP seal still working on it Happy
