Interesting Mini Piece Vase Art Glass w Metal - ID Help! :)

I think it would be unusual for it to turn up the states, but a local potter to me - Lorraine Bates at Woodsetton Art Pottery produces pottery incorporating pewter in the designs.

But this is glass, isn't it?

I never checked the thread title, certainly doesn't look like glass! Need to be more observent in future

Hey all! Thanks for the help. It def is glass, with some sort of metal on the base of the top. We took it to an antique dealer here in MA (We purchased this in NY at an Antique Shop) and the individuals at the store said it didn't look like Metal overlay, but instead, applied metal.

Really have not found too much like it. but am really trying my darnedest to find out what this little fella is.

Does the base look like it was blown? Is that little circle in the middle of the base the point where they broke it off?

The colors are brighter in the new photos as I used flash. Figured maybe that would help a little bit! Thanks

May have to do that. It looks pretty old, so if it is a repro, it may be on purpose and not from a museum. I'll have contact someone.

It looks lampworked, is the glass light in weight?
