Art Deco British wool rug

I bought this 6' rug back in the early 1970s from a secondhand furniture shop for a few quid.

I used to have it on the floor, but as you can see, it's now mounted on the wall with Velcro.

Is this a known item and if so, who is the designer? Any info' would be great...

Has elements of Kauffer but too busy to be one of his designs- are there any maker's labels to the reverse or "signatures" woven into the design?

i love Kauffer...if i could have one thing.......

I've just looked on the back, but there's no label. I am sure there used to be one - basically of paper-like material - but it must have fallen off. All I can recall is that it was a British maker. There isn't a signature or mark woven into the wool.
