Nice bit of slipware.
Could well be British - the colours are right and some studio potters only used paper labels in the 60s and 70s.
Might well be by a competent amateur (rim's not as professional as it might be).
Unfortunately, without a mark it's impossible to until another one turns up that's marked.

With those spots along the top and the crosshatch along the bottom I'd say rainbow trout crossed with a Salmon. Happy
