Links to Museums.Private collections, auctioneers, and sites of interest.
I thought a site to centralise all the various links with images and information about Studio Pottery. There is quite a lot out there, and some of it can be quite obscure. None of this stuff is mine by the way!
Private collections.
Psychoceramicus on Flickr. Quality images with a lot of very high quality pottery.

Same gent.A pictorial visit to York City Art gallery, which undoubtedly has the best Studio Pottery collection in the country. The whole of the 3000+ Bill Ismay collection to start with. You need to click the older/newer buttons to see all the pottery images.Which again, are superb. It opens on a Lucie Rie piece.

The collection of a discerning academic. Aagin its a PDF which you will have to wait to load, and the wait depends on your download speed. Very high quality collection on an anonymous academic held by the Monnow Valley Arts in Wales a couple years ago.

MUseums. Now there are several Museums that have their Studio Pottery collections-or some of it- online. Those that do,are well worth a glance.
First the V&A. If you visit London.you have got to visit the V&A collection. The vast majority is displayed in galleries that were refurbished a year or two ago.Hidden away on the very top floor, lit by natural light,it is often very quiet. But an absolute delight.
This search is set to Bernard Leach. But you can type any name in.

Buckinghamshire County Museum Aylesbury.
320 pieces with images online.Strong on 60's/70's studio pottery. In particular they have an excellent number of Ruth Duckworth. Link to search.Either type the individual name or if you want to see the whole lot, type Ceramics.
Unfortuantely its fairly hit and miss what is actually on show.Most-as with most museums-is in storage.

I recognise the name getcarter3 as a seller on ebay a couple of years back. The seller always had really great quality pottery for sale. Still appears on ebay from time to time I believe.
Thanks for the links by the way. Some great images/pots among them
