square/round bowl, WC mark - William (Bill) Crumbleholme

from the the side, looks like an unimpressive bowl, but has a nice quirk of round bottom and squared top.  It has an impressed stamp mark which seems familiar from this site, but couldn't remember if it was ID'd.

Looks similar to something I saw at Woking today. It was a fairly plain blue vase with ribbed neck, made in Denmark, so maybe there's somewhere to start.

The C is almost identical to the C in the CA mark for (Anna) Wenna Crockatt in Yates-Owen. Yates-Owen has the Anna in brackets so I'm wondering if she dropped the Anna and used a WC mark for Wenna Crockatt.

Similar, but not quite right; different fonts.

There is a photo of a kiln full of William Crumbleholme's pots and there is one this shape in it.

They are thumbnails. Click on them and they open into the full size photo in a separate webpage.
