Still a mystery. It is often misattributed to David Melville but he says it’s not one of his.

I believe it’s by Don Morgan. A pot turned up with this DM mark and label
Ceramike.com has a photo of the Dartington Pottery Training Workshop trainees, 1978 which includes him, and there's a tankard dated 1995, so I think he was mainly potting at his own studio in the 1980s-90s
