Hi I bought this bowl today and would appreciate any info.It measures 2" high and has a 4" dia.

I believe that it's by John Davidson, who potted around New Mills/Truro. Probably from around 1980.

Fabulous. A really elegant bowl. What is the best site for identifying marks? I got a couple of pieces today and was sure I had seen the marks before but have had no luck identifying them (yet!)

If you have a copy of the British Studio Pottery Marks book then that's a good start, but, tbh, this forum is one of the best places for identifying marks. Pop them on ID My Pottery and we'll see if we can help.
